"Swan dive! Into the best night of your life."
- Old Spice guy

  • Finally saw In the Heights.  The music was amazing, the energy was great, and I totally cried throughout the whole thing because I was just THAT excited.  It definitely lived up to my expectations.  It was an honor to see Lin-Manuel Miranda play the role that he originated in Broadway.
  • I love the Los Angeles Public Library. The "teen" section of the building had these humongous bean bag thingies and it's officially my favorite place to read.  Luckily, I look young enough that I can still blend in.
  • Speaking of... I'm currently reading The Passage by Justin Cronin and He's a Stud, She's a Slut And 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know by Jessica Valenti.  It's about time I start opening books again (or turning on my Kindle).
  • I was having a bad day yesterday so I made an appointment to get a massage after work.  Man, it was good.  And the best part is that it only cost $45 for 1 hour.
  • I'm going to the Renegade Craft Fair next Saturday!  And you know what's even more awesome?  I totally won a $20 gift certificate from KXLU that I can use to buy stuff at the event!
  • Catching up on Friday Night Lights.  Even with the fresh new faces, it's still good :D
  • Started watching Pretty Little Liars.  I'm not sure yet if I find it awesome enough, but I'll keep watching.
  • So much drama lately.  I'm distancing myself from Facebook for a while and focusing more on the positives.  "Less lonely and more happy" is the motto.
  • In an effort to be less lonely and more happy, I'm gonna try to get in on this 365 project thing.  One picture a day for 365 days.  It'll get my creative juices flowing and also put some meat in my thinning LiveJournal blog.  I'll be posting my first picture shortly.

Santana: Sex is not dating.
Brittany: If it were, Santana and I would be dating.

I got a new TiVo. I named him John Casey.  It was the last thing I needed to buy in able to complete my room.  So now I can finally say that the "renovation" is officially done.  Goodbye, fire.  Farewell, smoke stains.  Adios, charred wall.  So long, burn marks on the carpet.

Click here to see the photos. )

Yay. And it only took me 2 months. LOL!!! Special thanks to Mr. Clean, BEHR, Home Depot, FLOR.com, and Target. I should also thank my dad because he totally moved all my furniture and ripped out the old yucky carpet from my floor. Oh, and my co-worker Jamie because she gave me her discount code for FLOR.com! I saved mucho money on the carpet tiles!

I guess one of the other major change in my room is the number of beds. There used to be two, you know, and now there's only one. I definitely appreciate the extra space... although now I don't know where to dump my dirty clothes.

Today's Awesome List
  • My room is officially done.
  • I love my new carpet.
  • My new TiVo kicks ass.  I can watch streaming HD videos from Netflix!
  • Caught up with my friend Will after not seeing him for a year.
  • My cellphone bill did not look too horrible this month (even with all the roaming charges from my trip to Canada.)
  • SYTYCD is back and I love Alex Wong.
  • I was able to sleep in until 12:30pm today!

Only in and out your lips;
The broken wishes washing with them to shore

- "Touch Me" from Spring Awakening

So I walked into a bar...

Yes, yes she did.

So here's what happened:
My cousin Demi and I went to Kyle Riabko and Christy Altomare's Upright Cabaret show tonight.  We got seated in front of the stage and it was amazing. In walks Chris Colfer and Jenna Uskowitz.  My fangirl self squeed on the inside.  I quickly got all giddy cuz I thought Kevin McHale would be there too, but alas... he was nowhere to be found.  Jenna and Chris sat at a corner booth with a couple other girls who I didn't recognize.

Oh, and have I mentioned that my boobs almost touched them???  Yes, you heard me right.  The aisles in that bar were soooo narrow that when Jenna, Chris, and I passed by each other, we had to turn to our sides and walk sideways down the aisle.  Well, I was facing the two of them as I walked sideways back to my chair.  Our chests were like, 1-inch apart.  LOL!!!  Well, since Chris was so tall, my chest was more leveled with his stomach, but whatever :D

Anyways, Kyle Riabko and Christy Altomare called Jenna up on stage a couple of times to sing with them!  The first time she had a duet with Christy and the second time all three of them performed "Touch Me" from Spring Awakening.  It was amazing.  Jenna looked awesome and she was hot!

Here are a few more pics!!! )

After the show, I really wanted to get a pic with Jenna and Chris, but they left very quickly. Booo. But all in all, it was a great experience and I got to hear Jenna sing live!!!

Girl you make me wanna get you pregnant
Lay your body down and get you pregnant
Knock you up, pregnant, Knock you up...

- "Pregnant" by R. Kelly

My quote of the day is LOL-worthy. I mean... seriously, R. Kelly?

Dollhouse was sooooo good last Friday, yo. UGH!!! It just pisses me off that it got canceled! Victor alone is a cause for renewal!!! (Seriously, how awesome was Enver Gjokaj??!!) Ah, well... what's done is done.

I had quite a day last Saturday. I woke up early, got on the Metro, ate breakfast at The Farm in L.A. Live, and while I was enjoying my perfectly perfect blueberry pancakes, in walks Arnold Schwarzenegger...

Yep. The Governator.
He was with a whole bunch of kids, four other men, and a couple of bodyguards. AND GUESS WHERE HE SAT??

It was almost like when I saw Neil Patrick Harris up close at the airport, except not as awesome. Anyways, after I ate breakfast I got on another train and exited at Pershing Square. I thought it was about damn time that I visited the 500 Days of Summer bench. Damn, that was a hard climb. I don't know how Zooey Deschanel managed to get up there with those shoes she was wearing. I was glad the bench was there cuz my legs hurt and I was out of breath! And yes, I sat on it. It really is a nice spot despite, you know, all the homeless people sleeping on the grass.

Oh, and did I mention that someone on the nearby bench offered me weed?

Afterwards I ate at Grand Central Market, hopped on another train, and saw Mary Poppins at the Ahmanson Theater. I shit you not, I got a front row seat for only $20. Score!!!

Joanna: So you're gonna get another job?
Peter: I don't think I'd like another job.
Joanna: Well, what are you going to do about money and bills and...
Peter: You know, I've never really liked paying bills. I don't think I'm gonna do that, either.

- Office Space

My workplace. Let me show you it.

You can find more pics on my Facebook. Go ahead, check em out!

And look!  My student worker Rea gave me a couple of Dunnies!!!

Speaking of work... Meghan-bear is leaving LMU.  The poor girl never really got a chance to take a break after college so now she's going to try to travel and volunteer and find herself.  I am truly happy for her... but we've worked together for 5 years and I will miss her so.

Anyways... so like, on Tuesday night I had a dream that I had to reprogram all the doors on the 1st floor of the library.  Fucking A... not only is door programming taking over my life, it's also making appearances in my subconscious.  So I woke up at 1:30AM and all I could think of was work!  I couldn't go back to sleep!  2:30 rolled by... then 3:30... then 4:00...

At 4:30AM, I just said "Fuck it.  Ain't no way I can function at work like this."  I got up, emailed my department, and told them that I dreamed about doors and I haven't been able to sleep.  I took Wednesday off.  It was actually the best decision ever because Thursday and Friday were a breeze!!!  There were small problems here and there, but I felt like I was really given a mental break.  I can finally relax a little bit :)

: Sweetheart, please! Please, we are one yes away from a whole new life, a whole new you!

Wow.  I must really like orange and green.

My walls are green, my comforter is orange, my pillows are green, my curtain is orange, my water bottle is green, my door is orange... and now both my laptop and my Blackberry are green AND orange!  When I move into my own apartment, I gotta find a new color scheme.  LOL!!!!

I bought stuff from Etsy for the very first time.  Now, you probably think that I bought a purse or a cute little iPod case, but you couldn't be any more wrong.  I bought food.  Yes, FOOD.  I didn't know you can buy edible goods on Etsy.  So I bought some motherfucking cookies.

Brownie caramel cookies from KEcookies.  Holy shit, they were good.  I can't wait to fucking order more.  Cuz you know what?  I deserve these cookies, man.  I mean, I'm so grateful that I have a job and I work at one of the most beautiful buildings ever that has a big-ass flat screen TV in the staff lounge (honestly, that TV is like, twice the length of my body) and I have the most amazing panoramic view of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean, but... you know sometimes I'm just like, "FUUUUUCK YOUUUUUU, beautiful building!!!  You might be pretty, but you feed on innocent human souls!!!"

I bought new shoes today.  The brand is called B0rn and I hope they're still comfy after some extensive walking.  They look like clogs, but they're light enough on my feet and my pants cover most of the shoes anyway so you can't see the fugliness of it.  Anyways... I'll start wearing 'em once the school year starts and I can no longer get away with wearing jeans and tshirt to work.

Anyways... what's new, LiveJournal?

We don’t need the headlines
We just want…

We want the airwaves back
We want the airwaves back

- "Born for This" by Paramore

Oooh, let me tell you about my weekend of MUSIC, dudes.
On Saturday I went to Bamboozle Left with my friend (and ex co-worker) Ashley and we had a BLAST. Paramore and Jimmy Eat World rocked my socks off and guess what? Despite the thick mass of people, we managed to get up to the barricades up front!!! How awesome is that?!! I'm tellin' ya... Ashley can REALLY squeeze through crowds. I was amazed. Even when we left our spot to grab some lunch, we were able to get back to that same exact area afterwards.

Unfortunately, I missed The Cab's performance because they went up early while we were waiting in line to get in. I was so disappointed. But anyways, we did see other bands: The Morning Light (who were so adorable that I actually bought their EP), Rookie of the Year, The Starting Line, Story of the Year, Alkaline Trio, Daphne Loves Derby, RX Bandits, The Bouncing Souls, Face to Face...

But the best ones were still Jimmy Eat World and frigging PARAMORE!!!!!!
GAH! Hayley Williams owned that shit!

On Sunday, Ashley and I saw Jason Mraz at the Troubadour!!! OMG, I love love love that guy. I took lots of photos, but since I'm still experimenting with my new camera, a lot of them turned out grainy. Here's a couple anyway :)

Aaaand... here's a video that I took! ENJOY!

I swear, I'm obsessed with Threadless. I bought three more shirts this morning!!!

Meet DAWN.
She's my shiny new camera!

Ain't she pretty? I guess something good CAN come out of a really bad day at work.

The weekend has been going great so far. I'm getting some much-needed downtime and A LOT of sleep. Actually today I woke up at 2:30 PM and it was awesome. I think I need a new mattress, though. Everytime I wake up my back hurts and this Brookstone massager that I have is not making it any better.

Anyways, back to my weekend. I'm finally caught up with Degrassi and I must say, I'm a bit upset that my girl Deanna Casaluce isn't in the opening credits anymore. What the hell is up with that?!! They sank my ship and now they're taking my girl away? Bah.

The Cutting Edge: Going for the Gold is like, one of the worst movies EVER.

Watched Lost and Delirious with Turtle and learned a bit about unsexing raptors and like, blood and stuff.

Finally caught up with that friend from college. She cleared some stuff up for me. I hope she's right.

Big thanks for [livejournal.com profile] ronsypooie for asking me stuff about Wicked. Your questions made me check out the tickets for my next show I realized that it is, indeed, in MARCH and not in June. Holy mother, I could have missed it if it wasn't for you!!! THANK YOU!!!

I'm finally coming to terms with my Macbook. I think I'm starting to really like it. I mean, these widgets are rocking my world! I think I'm gonna download a game or two...

You guys, I can't even...

My animals are too cute together.

I am *up to here* with meeting minutes. Yesterday I sat through a meeting that ran 1 hour and 30 minutes longer than it was supposed to be. One hour and 30 minutes. And you know what's even more retarded? Most of it was just intra-office gossip, none of which I am interested in. And it's funny cuz after the meeting, my supervisor pulled me aside and told me that she hopes I am not discussing any of the gossip with people outside of the conference room. Puh-leaze. Everytime ya'll gossip, I tune myself out. I don't need the extra baggage. I am stressed out as it is.

(Unfortunately, since I often tune myself out I miss some of the important information that I should have been writing down.)

Conversation between my sister and I:

Her: I used your laptop.
Me: Ok.
Her: I just want to let you know that I wasn't looking at porn.
Me: Huh?
Her: I was looking for sex toys.
Me: What?
Her: For a bachelorette party.
Me: Ah. Ok.
Her: But I didn't buy anything!

- "The World Is Our Playground" by Up Dharma Down

I've never been here before, but I feel like I'm home. I wish to stay for as long as I can.

This weekend, I...

... celebrated Mylene's birthday at The Stinking Rose with my sister and our other girl cousins. I had to return the fetuccine/pesto that I ordered cuz I didn't like it... and then I ordered short ribs instead, which was delicious. I had garlic taste in my mouth 'til Sunday night, though, and it was soooo icky!

... hung out with Lisa. We realized that we'd watch just about anything together from Kevin Smith to... jackrabbits.

... enjoyed some interspecies erotica. I mean, my cat and my pig are so cute together!! And check out how giddy I look:

... got lots and lots and lots of sleep, which, apparently, isn't enough.

On Monday, I...

... got the sudden urge to reconnect with a friend from college. Through the power of Google, I was able to read some excerpts from her "memoirs" and I thought, "Wow... I've known her for quite a while and I didn't know all this was happening." I wish I was able to be there for her while she was struggling with some of her personal issues. I do miss our X-Files marathons very much.

... watched "The L Word." Go away, TiBette!!!

... got annoyed cuz Netflix canceled my DVD order for Saving Face

... mmmm... Rhys.... mmmmm.... pony... mmmmm... Jack and Demi makeoutnowplz.

Today I...

... got swamped at work.

... got my Mighty Ducks boxed set and Enchanted in the mail.

"I dare you to love me."
- Imagine Me & You

Family gathering, as usual. But instead of cramming ourselves into one room and having a mini Friends marathon (like we do every year), we all settled in the family room where teh cousins played Guitar Hero III all night. It's what Jesus would have wanted to do on his birthday, I'm sure.

Heck yeah.
I only played once cuz I SUCK. But my cousins Demi and Lea were totally AT IT the entire night. I don't know how they lasted that long, but ooooh... ooooh!!! TRIVIA time: Didja know that our family name shows up on one of the Guitar Hero III menu pages?

HINT: It's not "Shanker."
I'm proud to say that my middle name is now part of gaming history :D My cousin Matthew knew someone who worked on the game and he totally hooked the family up by putting our last name on there (well, on my mom's side). Ain't that awesome?!!

Anyways... I see some of you listed down your Christmas loot for this year. Well, I'm sad to say that I don't have much to list. Apparently in my family as soon as you get a job your grandparents forget that you exist. Some of your aunts and uncles forget about you too, so the money-stuffed envelopes start to... become rare as the years go by. WTH is up with that, doodz? I'm still a kid at heart! I still want presents!!!! Anyways, a few aunts and uncles came through with some Starbucks gift cards so WOO HOOOOO!!! Suck on that, grandma and grandpa!

Uh... I locked myself out of my house cuz I'm an idiot. I found a paperclip and tried to pick the lock, but apparently I'm not that badass. I went to the neighbor's house to use the phone, but I only remember my sister's phone number so I just called her. But she's at work and my brothers were gone so she was like, "Um... I'll just try to come up with an excuse so my boss will let me out and I can come home to let you in."

So I was all "La la laaaa... I'll just be at the garage until someone comes home." And all of a sudden, I heard a tapping sound. I looked up to see my brother LeeRoy peeking out of his window, wondering what the heck was up. Well hello. He was home sleeping the entire time!!! I was like, "I thought you were gone!!!!" and he was all "Uh...." and pointed to his car, which was sitting comfortably on our driveway. WHAT. THE. SHIT. I saw the car there... I knew it was his car... aaaandddd it didn't register in my head that he was home?

So I went through all that trouble and he was home the entire time?!! OMG. I started laughing like hell cuz that was so freaking stupid. LMAO!!! Anyways, I'm back inside the house now so everything's a-OK!!!

Guitar Hero III lives.
My youngest brother just bought the game with his Christmas money so now we own it. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

There's this girl named Lisa from Boston and she watched SYTYCD and her fave was Sara Von Gillern and she loves X-Files, Wonderfalls, and Firefly so I thought, "Ah. We are from the same breed. We must become friends."

So one night during an AIM chat she said "I think I'm going to the SYTYCD shows in NorCal..." and I was all "But u already went to 8" and she was all "Maybe Reno too" and I was all, "Ur insane."

Fastforward to me, a day later, looking for flights to Reno. I sayz to Lisa, "WTF. I'm looking for Reno flights." And she sayz, "Well after the NorCal shows, I'm staying with a friend in Anaheim..." And I sayz "I'm 20 minutes away from Anaheim" and she sayz "No way." And I sayz "Road trip to Reno, Y/Y?"

So this is where my Reno adventure began... )

Well guys, that's the end of my "November ended with a BANG!" blog. To those of you who read through the entire 3-part series, thank you!!! It truly was an amazing experience and I've met some of the coolest people EVER. Let's do this again soon, people! MAY 2008 -- where u at?!!!

Baby, let's go
Have that wreckless love
That crazy love
That off-the-wall, won't stop 'til I get enough kind of love

- "Wreckless Love," by Alicia Keys

SYTYCD - Los Angeles

It started with a phone call.

My gurl Lisa was at a meet-and-greet in the east coast somewhere and she put Jesus on the phone for me. I told him that I was going to the L.A. show, but I was worried that there won't be any meet-and-greets since they didn't have any for the Los Angeles show last year. So he said, "I can get you passes. Do you want passes? Just give me your name and how many people you're going with." So of course I was like, "Yes! Sure!" and voila... I got totally hooked up. And so did [livejournal.com profile] peakin75 and [livejournal.com profile] cali_b -- my "plus two."

Fastforward to November. Met up with Peak and Cali for our LA/San Diego adventure. We stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street from the Nokia Theatre, which was very convenient. Then we had dinner with Jazzy, Lori, and some other peeps in this one Italian restaurant. Our waiter was such a riot! I dunno if he's forreal or wut, but he talked like a straight up car salesman and used phrases like "sweet, sweet clams." OMG, it was hilarious!

Then off we went to the show. The backstage passes waiting for me at will-call so YAY for Jesus for keeping his word! Then I saw my "taping buddies" inside the theatre (Tat, Deon, Kat... plus Joey) so I was extra giddy. Nothing from the actual show itself. Everyone was great and I had a great time! Pasha and Lauren's Transformers routine was freaking amazing and Kameron's solo was HOT!!!! Plus, Sara was ON FIRE and I'm so glad that the breaking routine was included in the lineup :)

Anyways, I saw Donyelle Jones in the audience during intermission and I freaked the hell out. She's my favorite dancer last season and although I've met her before, I've never taken a pic with her!!! So I just went up to her and my boy Deon was already there, trying to get a hug. LOL! Of course, it was the perfect opportunity to take some pics. And OMG, she looked freaking GORGEOUS, ya'll. She was so beautiful, I didn't know what to do with myself.

Then my gurl Joey spotted Mary Murphy in the pit section somewhere so we were like, "Eeee! We need a pic with her!" So we went, but the usher was like, "Uhh... no... not unless your tickets are for this section." So Joey was like, "Pleeaaaseee... we just want a pic with her!" So we went and Mary was so nice and agreed to take pics with us. She even got up from her seat and went around the row of chairs that were separating her from us so we can get closer together for the photo :)

On to the meet and greet:
Ok, so I get there, right? And it was hella freaking crowded in there! You'd think that they'd have a larger VIP lounge in LA, but noooo... everyone was cramped in there. I was sweating like hell and I'm all "Ewwww... my pics are gonna come out all shiny...." The Season 2 dancers started filtering in and that's when I saw my favorte male dancer from last year -- IVAN KOUMAEV. I was all, "Tee hee! I'm shy!" at first but oh well... I just sucked it in and asked for a pic. And of course, since Ivan was there... Travis was there as well :) And Dima totally made an appearance too!

Aaaanddddd here comes the Season 3 dancers. I met Neil, Danny, and Kameron and they were all so nice and sweet and smelled very very good! Then Pasha entered the room...

He came up to this one girl wearing a black beret, and kissed her on the lips. I was like, "Whoa... is that like, a Russian thing?" But then he proceeded to put both his hands on her waist and pulled her closer to him. It was very, very, VERY couple-like. The girl also hugged and kissed Kameron, but it was nowhere near as touchy feely as Pasha. I figured that she's someone who worked for the show because she seemed to know some of the dancers. And whaddaya know... she turned out to be Cat Deeley's stylist. My heart ached for Sasha at that moment, but I came up to him anyway and asked for his autograph. He was just so... *sigh*.... I'm so in love with him. I would very much like to cuddle with him and run my fingers through his hair.

Then I saw Jaimie and came up to her for an autograph, but she was totally making out with Ivan and I'm all "Uh... okay... I'll just stand here until they notice me" Haha! I felt almost bad for interrupting the touchy-feely, but Ivan was like "Would you like me to take your picture?" And I was all, "Eeee!!! Yesss!!!" So here's my pic with Jaimie, taken by Ivan.

Afterwards I saw Shauna in the corner standing by herself. Eeep!!!! I actually got a chance to chat with her!!! She's so cute and fun to talk to and we chatted about the Insomniac videos. She explained to me what TYKY meant (totally South Park-related) and gave me the lowdown on the next video that she was going to upload. Besides Sara and Jesus (which I will talk about later), I talked to Shauna the longest.

Then I saw Sabra and I asked for her autograph. I also wanted a pic, but there was a crowd of little girls around her so she asked me to wait a while and she'll get back to me. BUT --
I turned around and saw Jesus kneeling down on the floor, talking to two little boys. So I thought, "Nah... I already got a pic with Sabra. It's time for JESUS, baby!!!"

Anyways, so there he was talking to two little boys and it was seriously the cutest thing ever. He was very very encouraging to them and you can tell that their parents were so grateful that he actually took the time to talk to them. After the family left I was all, "DUDE!!!! JESUS!!!!!" And he was like, "Aaaah!!!!! JILL!!!!!!!!!" And we like, hugged and hugged and hugged some more. But two girls were waiting for him to give them autographs so he was like, "Hold on... let me take care of this so I can pay more attention to you." Tee hee!!!

So we chatted. And chatted. And chatted some more. We talked about... uh... um.... dude... we talked about... stuff... that I don't even remember... why... why don't I remember our conversation?!!!!! Was I THAT distracted by his gorgeousness??? UGH!!!! I also asked him about his CD and he said that he's still recording some songs and will be putting up some samples on his MySpace soon. Then we said goodbye and hugged one last time when I realized that I haven't even seen Sara yet!!! I asked Jesus if she's coming out and he said that she's still upstairs on the 2nd floor talking to some people.

While I was waiting, I was all "doo too doo tooo doo... lalala...." when I suddenly spotted Lauren!!!! OMG, my heart freaking stopped, ya'll. I've been DYING to take a pic with that girl. I totally had my "AZN PRIDE" sign with me and I walked up to her and asked for her autograph. Then I said, "Um... I have a favor. Can I... take a picture with you... while holding up... this sign???" Then I whipped it out like, BAM!!!! And she was like, "OH.MY.GOD. Omigod, this is sooo cool!!!!!!" So we busted out with our peace signs and took the best AZN PRIDE picture ever.

Anyways... it's SARA time.
I thought I saw her signing autographs on the staircase, but I wasn't sure if that's her so I asked Pasha (who just happened to walk by) if he thinks that's Sara or some other chick. Then he said "Yeah, that's Sara" and I'm all "OMG." I positioned myself at the bottom of the stairs like an idiot and waited for her to descend...

She looked up and was like, "JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!" and I'm all "Heyyyyyyy!!!" So we hugged. And hugged. And hugged some more. I asked her to sign my tourbook and my copy of Dance Spirit magazine. Then, I gave her her present:

That's all her routines from the tour, plus her skit with Dominic (laptop not included). I framed it and gave it to her. I think she liked it cuz she was like, "OMG... I'm gonna cryyyyy..." Then we chatted more about the Insomniac stuff when I realized that Pasha was just STANDING.RIGHT.THERE.NEXT.TO.HER. So I'm like, "Oh hey Pasha. Since you're here, can I take a pic of you two?" And Pasha was like, "Uh....." and it looked like he really didn't want to (I think his girlfriend was nearby). After a minute of silent deliberation, he finally went for it. So they stood on either side of me and I slipped out to take their pic. And they were like, "Wait! Where are you going? Don't you want to be in the picture?" And I'm thinking, "Dammit... I wanted a pic of just THEM!!!" So in my defeat, I went back and stood between them. Sara had her arm around my shoulder and I had my hand on... Pasha's butt.

Dude, what can I say? He was tall and my hand was comfortably leveled with his butt. But as soon as I placed my hand right there I'm all "ACK! Inappropriate... must pull hand away!" So I did. Sort of. After we took the pic I made another attempt at getting a Sasha pic so I said, "Can I get one with just the two of you?"

With much hesitation, Pasha said okay but Sara was totally up for it. They stood closer together and Pasha extended his index finger towards Sara. I was all "huh?" and Sara was all "huh?" But Pasha just looked at his finger... and looked back at Sara... like she's supposed to know what to do. Haha! And Sara was like, "What... are... you... doing?"

She just extended her own index finger in response to Pasha's gesture and hooked it onto Pasha's finger. Then Pasha just stared right into the camera, all psychotic-like, and that's how this pic came about.

Sara looked really really cute, though :D

Anyways, the tour people started kicking us out of the VIP lounge so that the rest of the dancers can go outside by the barricades to sign autographs. As I was heading out, I saw Lacey and she was like, "Hey you!!!!" And I'm thinking, "Who, me?" So I waved at her and approached her and asked for her autograph. I wanted a pic too, but she was surrounded by little girls so I said that I'll just get her some other time.

I also saw Anya on my way out so of course I just had to get her pic too!!! Doesn't she look MAD SEXY????

The only two people I didn't see were Hok and Dominic. The QUEST crew was there and I think the b-boys were just busy catching up with each other. I'll get them some other time, perhaps.

Anyways, that's the end of my LA recap! You can view all my pics in my Photobucket:

Still wanna go

Yes, I took a mini-vacay to San Francisco during Labor Day weekend and it was AWESOME. It's my first time in NorCal so yeah... freaking finally, right??!! I went with my cousin Mylene and we stayed at Hotel Whitcomb, and it was like... in the best location evarrr. Bus stop, BART station, and streetcars just outside the front entrance!!! Union Square and cable cars only a few blocks away!!! So yeah... we walked everywhere. And we rode the cable cars back and forth to Fisherman's Wharf, which was like... totally exciting cuz YAY crooked road!!! They were having this event called "Alcatraz Swim of the Centurions" and like, a whole bunch of people were swimming from The Rock to the beach in front of Ghirardelli Square. So much fun!!! We also took one of those boat tours that go under the Golden Gate Bridge and around the Alcatraz Island. BTW, while I was on the boat, a couple of freaking seagulls were flying RIGHT NEXT TO MY FREAKING FACE!!! Ack! It was like, the scariest thing ever!!!

Anyways, we walked, we shopped, we took pictures, saw some sea lions, passed through Chinatown, pigged out at The Stinking Rose, it was sooooo cool!!! And have I mentioned how AMAZING the weather was??? Holy shit, it was cool and breezy and NOT 100 degrees. Anyways, if you wanna see lots and lots more pretty pictures, go here:

I think Snoop died. I might need a new mp3 player. Which means I have to re-upload all my songs. Again.

I want to cry.

Hey, you know what's awesome? Television. Fall season is about to start and I cannot wait!!! BTW, I got the season 3 DVD of The Office so yay!!! Marathon this weekend, yes??? GAH, but I still need to catch up on Big Love and Flight of the Conchords. Not to mention all these Neil Gaiman books that I bought. Where did the summer go?

I cannot stop watching this video, OMG. It's so fucking kickass. It was great to see it live and it was great to see it on TV. Even better, actually. Cuz I can re-watch it over and over again wif my TeeVoh.

Sara and Pasha, bitchezz. The silent killers. And of course I voted for 2 hours straight :D

It's picture time!!!

The crew with Danny Tidwell. Look at how short I am!

Anyways, as I've mentioned earlier, I went to the SYTYCD taping on Monday. Stood on the risers, got to say "good luck" to ALL the dancers as they passed by me. And best of all, Sara Von Gillern totally held my hand and said, "IT'S SO NICE TO SEE YOU!" *fangirly SQUEE* She recognized me! Yep... we're homies, Sara and I.

D-Trix also squeezed my shoulder and I almost died. Oh, and I totally proclaimed my love to Jesus while I was standing up there and he was sitting down at the bleachers section. I even made big hand gestures cuz he couldn't hear me well. He said "THANK YOU!" *squee* (Sidenote: I totally saw him and Donyelle hugging!!! It's a dream come true!)

Anyway, this was the first time that I actually got to stay at The Grove after the taping to hang out with my friends. 'Twas fun stalking the dancers. And it was so much fun cramming 8 people in a small booth at Cheesecake Factory!!! Not to mention the waiter who looked SO MUCH like Orlando Bloom, only hotter! Haha! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] twix84604 for the ride home!!! I had so much fun :)

I'm still not over it and I still can't stop watching it. It blew my freaking mind, dudes. I'm so glad that I got to see it live! And guess what? I'm going to another taping on Monday! Yay!!! Sara + Jesus, biatcheezz!

Anyways... wanna see some pictures???
Here's my "taping crew." We're a fun bunch!

Intern: Debbie's actually my name!
Dr. Kelso: Then out of fairness to the others, you will be Slagathor. Daves, Debbies, Slagathor, I will be in my office.

So, Zac and Vanessa...
You're done filming High School Musical 2.
What do you want to do next?
Go to Hawaii and MAKE OUT, duh.

Ok, ok... so I'm totally late with the pictures. They were released last week or whatever. I am rather inconsistent with my HSM-love so I'm not up-to-date with the gossip. I honestly wouldn't have found these fantastic paparazzi photos if it weren't for [livejournal.com profile] satinesparkles. Good lord, they're hot! I mean, one day Zac Efron is singing and dancing on my TV screen, and the next he's slathering suntan lotion all over Vanessa Hudgen's ass. LOL! Cover your eyes, kids! This ain't Disney Channel approved :D

Damn you, hot SoCal weather! Damn you, brush fires! I know all about you, okay? You don't have to take over the 9:00 time slot on the CW. Please go away, leave the mountains and hills alone, and let me watch Veronica Mars.

Bring winter back.

Am voting for Melinda Doolittle as I type. I've been at it since 9:00 PM. One more hour to go. On another note, SYTYCD starts on May 24th! Here's one of the contenders that might just get a shot.

First off, I have a new layout!!!
I don't usually use pre-made layouts cuz I don't like it when other people have the same layout as me, but [livejournal.com profile] thefulcrum is just way too amazing that I had to use one of their masterpieces. So yay, pretty layout!

You have been replaced, Benjelle!!!

Hahahah!!! You know you've moved on when you've changed your IdolForums sig. I mean, come on... look at the YUM!

Like my sig? Did you get a cavity yet? Hahahah, well check out this thread. It's quite possibly the BEST thread ever. I am drowning in shippy goodness.

Anyways, I've decided that Chris Richardson is my favorite contestant this year. Second is Melinda Doolittle. And I know that Chris ain't gonna win, but I'll be voting for him like crazy. CRAZY, I tell you. Power-voting phase, activate!!! 2 hours just for Chris. Well, maybe 5 minutes for Melinda, but the rest is for Chris!!!

Ok, enough with American Idol. I've been watching Firefly cuz of [livejournal.com profile] caalan. (Thanks, my whitey!) Anyways, my big-screen BTVS/AtS event is this Friday and I'm excited!! Ooooh, and I'll be meeting [livejournal.com profile] cali_b soon!! Yay!!!!

I am jealous of [livejournal.com profile] tvjunkie82 and [livejournal.com profile] pinkbutterflies. I miss New York so much and I wanna see Spring Awakening!!! I'm so tempted to fly to NYC by myself just to see it! Aaaaahhh!!! TOUCH MEEEEEEEE!!!

BTW, California Screamin' owns our soul. What the frak is that Red Hot Chilli Peppers song that they play on the ride? It's freaking kick-ass!!!!!!!!

Prison Break - 2x22 - Sona )

Anyways, I still need to watch the season premiere of Doctor Who. I've already downloaded the ep, I just need to actually sit down and watch it. And I haven't watched The Black Donnellys either. I think I'm slowly losing interest.

Speaking of losing interest, I really don't care about Harry Potter right now. Just let me know what happens in Book 7, will ya? On the other hand, my recent issue of Entertainment Weekly had Hermione in the front cover and it got me a tiny bit excited about the movie.

I love my new Nintendo DS. Oh, Moritz...

Um, yeah. Went to Disneyland this Sunday with Meghan and Sonia and it was ossom. Daylight Savings Time threw me off so I woke up late, but we were there by 10:30 AM and outta' there by 8:30 PM. Man, I was so tired. It was hot too! There was a brush fire in the neighboring mountains so the sky was smoky and ashes were flying EVERYWHERE!!! Oh yeah, the Matterhorn ride broke down too so we were stuck in line for about an hour.

(And also, I bought the CUTEST Mickey Mouse ring. I love it more than my Tiffany and Co. ring.)

I watched the movie 300 with my brother and I really enjoyed it. It's visually stunning cuz like... all the guys had 8-packs or something. You cannot be a Spartan soldier unless you have an 8-pack.

I also went to Metropark and bought a couple of shirts. So pretty!!! Unfortunately, I really shouldn't be buying shirts cuz what I need are pants!!! Yep, I totally ripped one of my slacks and I was gonna buy a replacement, but American Eagle doesn't sell 'em anymore :(

I forgot to mention this last week, but Happy 10th Anniversary, Buffy the Vampire Slayer!!!
