The older I get, the more I FAIL at sleeping in. It is teh suck. It's like my body's saying, "Six to seven hours of sleep is all you'll get! I don't care if you're still sleepy or you have the whole weekend to sleep -- I will fucking wake you up!" God, it's such a pain!

I even try to trick myself, you know? I'll go to bed at 9:30 PM, thinking that if I slept early I can sleep for 8.5 hours but nooooooooo. My body would wake me up at 4:00 AM! WTF??? I didn't sleep early so I can wake up earliER, you bastard! I slept early so I can sleep longer! Ugh, being a grown-up sucks!

I looked into getting a data plan for my Blackberry since everyone seems to have Internet service on their phone. Sadly, I can't afford it.

Facebook owns me. I haven't even been on MySpace for like, a month. I've looked at other people's MySpace pages, yes, but I haven't really logged on to mine. Anyways, wanna see my SuperPoke pet on Facebook??

Nope. I haven't read Breaking Dawn yet. I figured I can just torrent the damn thing, but when I tried to cancel my Amazon order, it wouldn't let me. Apparently they're already getting ready to ship it. Boo.

***

This weekend, I watched movies. I particularly loved Penelope and Charlie Bartlett. Fun times. I also got some sleep, but that didn't make me any less sleepy than I already am. I mean, what's up with that? I was more alert when I was sleep deprived!!!

***

I re-joined Facebook. Yep, you heard me. MySpace was just having way too many issues that I had to release some of my frustration. I don't understand why I'm not getting any notifications and why my updates are not showing up. Yo, MySpace... if you're gonna steal some of Facebook's features, at least make sure they are functioning properly! Don't get me wrong, I'm still on MySpace... but unless Tom (or whoever) fixes these little things, I'mma go cheat on them with Facebook.

(But please, do not send me any vampire/zombie applications.)

Why yes, I listened to Avril Lavigne from 9:30 AM to 4:54 PM yesterday. Yep, I couldn't believe it either. Just gearin' up for the concert, is all -- and also, trying to find the meaning of life. Speaking of concerts, I can't wait for Bamboozle Left and Jason Mraz this weekend. Should be fun!

***

According to my calculations, I've been getting 5 hours of sleep (at most) every weekday. In the last two days I have gotten 6 hours of sleep total. It's all worth it, though. Definitely.

***

Am I the only one who's not too thrilled about Panic at the Disco's latest album? It's been getting good reviews from my f-list, but I was just "meh" about it. There were a few choice lyrics that I dug, of course, but I cannot "dance to this beat," man. It's a bit too laid back for me and I was expecting to get my disco on... this is why I listen to Cobra Starship instead.

***

Received one of the most wonderful MySpace messages ever. It was very VERY encouraging, especially from someone who is a few years younger than me. Oddly enough, I really do look up to her in terms of... just... guts, you know? And "chillaxability." Ya know, it's not too difficult for me to find happiness in the smallest of things, but as I get older I've realized that that quality about me is slowly disappearing. I need it back.

God, seriously... I miss television. LOL! Ya know, I remember back in my YA days people used to tell me that my obsession was becoming unhealthy... well now I'm certainly yearning for another unhealthy obsession to cure my even more unhealthy adult state.

And on that note...
I want to do this in an empty library:

The LMU Library now has a MySpace, thanks to my homie Ray-Ray. At first I'm all "OMG, this is cool!" but after being added to the library's f-list, I started feeling uncomfortable. There goes my default picture, on the Top Friends section, accessible to all library staff members. Now, I dunno about you... but my MySpace is sort of my "home away from work." It's okay for a few employees to know about it, but when my own boss starts showing my page to University Relations reps, then it's a whole new ballgame. I quickly emailed Ray-Ray and I asked to be taken off the library's f-list. I mean, that's just weird, yo. I want my peeps to feel comfortable leaving me raunchy messages, without worrying about the priests and nuns on campus reading them ;)

I bought the following DVDs:
- Glory
- Miss Congeniality
- The Grudge

And speaking of DVDs... I'm totally running out of storage. So I dunno where the fuck I'm supposed to store all the DVDs that I just bought :(

Anyways, at least I got a pretty cool MySpace default picture out of it.
And also, my cleavage looks great today. <-- has nothing to do with the sob-fest whatsoever. Just giving myself an ego-boost.

- Lunch with Tita Rose at Chicago for Ribs.

- Spamming Lisa's MySpace with comments.

- Eating a plate of mini-brownies that my boss gave me as a present. YUM!!!!

- Partying it up at the Library Staff Christmas Party.

- Purchasing the High School Musical 2 DVD, Instant Star season 2 DVD, Serenity Collector's Edition DVD, and Super Collapse 3 for my Nintendo DS.

Unfortunately, the Getty didn't cure my blues. Bring back Jesus Solorio, motherfuckers!!! Anyways, to keep my mind off stuff, I decided to re-do my MySpace layout and it turned out pretty good! I mean, CHECK IT OUT! It's emo-tastic!

As it turns out, changing my MySpace layout wasn't enough so I re-decorated my LiveJournal too. TAKE A LOOK-SEE, bitchezz. It's hella freaking small, though!!! WTH? I gotta find a way to change the dimensions and text size without fucking up the entire layout. Oh well...

I'm so... emotionally exhausted. I need to get out of here.

Work was shit. The day ended in tears and humiliation, to say the least. And my one salvation from all this fuckery was taken away from me by stupid 19E. Man, fuck ya'll.

So after crying for freaking 2 hours at work, I came home and cried some more...

SYTYCD officially sucks. Will keep watching until Sara Von Gillern is kicked out. Then that'll be the end of the season for me. Jesus Solorio was fucking robbed.

I think I need a fresh start. Let's start with MySpace. I stripped off my pretty layout and went basic. I shall devote my time to rebuilding it. I also deleted some Schwimmers from my f-list so that should keep my mind off some shit.

After that, I'll proceed with LiveJournal. I've been meaning to change my bamboo layout, but I didn't know how I want my new layout to be, so yeah. Must brainstorm.

I need a hug. Not a virtual hug, but a hug HUG. I wish ya'll are my neighbors so I can just knock next door.

I go to [livejournal.com profile] jus_smile_n_nod's place, we hang for a couple of hours, we pick up Tatiana from Pepperdine and Deon from Cal State Northridge and then we all drive to the benefit together. QUOTE OF THE DAY:

You know, I didn't just heed what I was taught, men and women should be together, it's the natural way, that kind of thing. I'm not with you because of what family, society, life tried to instill in me from day one. The way the world is, how seldom it is that you meet that one person who just *gets* you - it's so rare. My parents didn't really have it. There were no examples set for me in the world of male-female relationships. And to cut oneself off from finding that person, to immediately halve your options by eliminating the possibility of finding that one person within your own gender, that just seemed stupid to me. So I didn't. But then you came along. You, the one least likely. I mean, you were a guy.
