Eeeeee! I'm so excited! My sister agreed to go with me if I paid for her ticket, so yeah... to the nosebleed section, we go!!! LOL! But I don't care man, I just wanna see the damn thing. Oh, and bee-tea-double-u... Avenue Q is coming here in September!!!Aaaaaaaaaaahh!!! I wanna see it again!

"Once More, With Feeling" and "Smile Time" on the big screen in about 22 hours. OMG.

I love the library. The library is fun. It makes me wanna burst into song.

I sent this video to my boss and she lost her mind laughing. And then she went ahead and forwarded it to the ENTIRE library staff. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! It makes me so happy. I am YouTube's bitch.

First off, I have a new layout!!!
I don't usually use pre-made layouts cuz I don't like it when other people have the same layout as me, but [livejournal.com profile] thefulcrum is just way too amazing that I had to use one of their masterpieces. So yay, pretty layout!

You have been replaced, Benjelle!!!

Hahahah!!! You know you've moved on when you've changed your IdolForums sig. I mean, come on... look at the YUM!

Like my sig? Did you get a cavity yet? Hahahah, well check out this thread. It's quite possibly the BEST thread ever. I am drowning in shippy goodness.

Anyways, I've decided that Chris Richardson is my favorite contestant this year. Second is Melinda Doolittle. And I know that Chris ain't gonna win, but I'll be voting for him like crazy. CRAZY, I tell you. Power-voting phase, activate!!! 2 hours just for Chris. Well, maybe 5 minutes for Melinda, but the rest is for Chris!!!

Ok, enough with American Idol. I've been watching Firefly cuz of [livejournal.com profile] caalan. (Thanks, my whitey!) Anyways, my big-screen BTVS/AtS event is this Friday and I'm excited!! Ooooh, and I'll be meeting [livejournal.com profile] cali_b soon!! Yay!!!!

I am jealous of [livejournal.com profile] tvjunkie82 and [livejournal.com profile] pinkbutterflies. I miss New York so much and I wanna see Spring Awakening!!! I'm so tempted to fly to NYC by myself just to see it! Aaaaahhh!!! TOUCH MEEEEEEEE!!!

Dear old man on the train,

If I'm listening to my mp3 player full blast, it means that I can't hear you. I will take off my earphones for a while just to see what you're blabbering to me about, but if I put them back on, it means I don't want to talk to you. Yes, I'll play along... I'll nod and smile even though I'm actually listening to Timbaland instead of you. But when my face start to hurt, I will close my eyes and fake-sleep. And when I fake-sleep, please do not nudge me so I can open my eyes and fake-listen to you again.

And on that note, I had the most awesome nap on the train today.

Day 5: jury duty-free and DONE with my service. WOOT!!!!! I totally escaped the entire thing!! Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Anyways, here's my "type-as-I-watch" commentary on tonight's episode:

The wind was so strong today - SO STRONG - that it knocked the antenna off our roof. Which means I completely missed American Idol. Don't worry, it didn't stop me from watching clips online (thank you, East Coasters!) and voting my ass off for Phil Stacey -- who will not win, by the way, but gods help me, he better not get booted off before Haley or Sanjaya.

Anyways, no antenna means no House either, which pisses me off because I don't know where to download tonight's ep! Aaaaahhh!!! I saw Chase and Cameron making out in the promo an I HAVE TO SEE a longer version of it! Help!

ETA: When I left home this morning, my dad pointed out that our antenna was still intact so it couldn't have been that. Now we REALLY don't know what's wrong.

I got the first issue of BTVS Season 8 today and it makes me all sorts of happy. I'm disappointed that it's sooo VERY short, but the artwork is amazing. It'll never be as good as the actual TV show (I wish Joss Whedon would write a BOOK!), but the comic book is not bad at all :)

xrogue81: (sytycd_waltz)

Xander: Dinner is served, and my very own recipe.
Willow: Oooo, you pushed the button on the microwave that says "popcorn?"
Xander: Actually I pushed "Defrost," but Joyce was there in a clinch.

I fell into the GAP... and then some.

Since I ruined my favorite pair of super laid-back trousers from American Eagle, I desperately needed some "replacement pants." Luckily, GAP had these on sale:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Wide, loose-fitting legs. Just the way I like 'em. I got one in each color and I'm totally nervous about the fit so hopefully everything will work out. *crosses fingers* Usually when I shop for pants that are NOT jeans, I tend to want to throw stuff at the wall cuz none of 'em fit right. So I really NEED this, man! Do *not* fail me, online shopping!

I got summoned for jury duty. UGH!!!
On a brighter note, I might just get some reading done while waiting to see if my name gets called.

Hooray for Season 8 of BTVS!!!
The series will be continued in comic books instead of on TV, but Joss Whedon wrote the first 5 issues and will be supervising the rest so I'm totally on board!

Speaking of...
In honor of the Buffy's 10th Anniversary, I'll be watching a couple of episodes a day. It's not a marathon, but hey... it's all good. I'm currently watching Season One. Woot!

Booo. TxtLJ doesn't work for me. I typed out this long post on my Blackberry but LJ refused to accept my registration confirmation. So screw it. I'll just update now.

I'm currently computer-less and office-less at work. It'll drive me nuts in the next couple of days. See, my boss is having her office re-decorated so new carpet is being laid out this week. And it's convenient since she's currently out of state. We packed up all her stuff and moved out all her furniture last Friday.

Fastforward to this morning.
I'm sitting in my office, waiting for the carpet guys to arrive. And when they did, they looked at me weird like, "Why are YOUR furniture still here?" And I was all, "Uh... because it's NOT my office that's being re-carpeted?" And they were like, "Um, your office is being re-carpeted too."

Long story short, I needed to empty out my office within one hour. Sonia helped me pack all my stuff in boxes, which was awesome. So now I'm computer-less and office-less. I'm currently shacking up in the copy room with the student-workers, which is great cuz I get to hang with them, but unfortunately that's also where we stashed all of my stuff and my boss's stuff. So this situation literally brought us closer together.

By the way, I'm still not over

Eeee! Skylar Astin and Lauren Pritchard are soooo cute together and soooo in love! Oh, how I love off-screen romances. Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] pinkbutterflies is gonna see the show in NY soon and I'm so jealous! I wish I can come with her!!!

[livejournal.com profile] sleepymonster and [livejournal.com profile] macaroniprotest made me feel all warm and fuzzy about BTVS today so I think a marathon is in order. So many DVDs to watch, so little time.

Um, yeah. Went to Disneyland this Sunday with Meghan and Sonia and it was ossom. Daylight Savings Time threw me off so I woke up late, but we were there by 10:30 AM and outta' there by 8:30 PM. Man, I was so tired. It was hot too! There was a brush fire in the neighboring mountains so the sky was smoky and ashes were flying EVERYWHERE!!! Oh yeah, the Matterhorn ride broke down too so we were stuck in line for about an hour.

(And also, I bought the CUTEST Mickey Mouse ring. I love it more than my Tiffany and Co. ring.)

I watched the movie 300 with my brother and I really enjoyed it. It's visually stunning cuz like... all the guys had 8-packs or something. You cannot be a Spartan soldier unless you have an 8-pack.

I also went to Metropark and bought a couple of shirts. So pretty!!! Unfortunately, I really shouldn't be buying shirts cuz what I need are pants!!! Yep, I totally ripped one of my slacks and I was gonna buy a replacement, but American Eagle doesn't sell 'em anymore :(

I forgot to mention this last week, but Happy 10th Anniversary, Buffy the Vampire Slayer!!!

Well, it's because I've been watching PORN on YouTube and I can't seem to stop.

Mmmhmm. Just sex. That is all. I'll probably be up 'til 7am.

- The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide is Press Coverage, by Panic! At the Disco

Panic! At the Disco makes me feel good in my nether regions. I've been listening to their album over and over again and now I'm all... happy. Like that song Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off? So. Effing. Hot. Especially the opening vocals, man. Le sigh.

I have a new "soundtrack" project. I know, I know... I shouldn't have started this one. Granted that I still have 3 outstanding ones: RFR, Scrubs, and Gray's Anatomy (I'd say that my BTVS one is finished). But now I figured that I should have a Dawson's Creek one. Yes. DC. How can I not have a DC soundtrack? I mean, it's a show that had A LOT of featured songs. But now I'm sort of regretting it cuz damn... it's A LOT of songs! *headdesk* Ah well... I started it, now I gotta finish it. And once I'm done, I can start collecting songs from Veronica Mars. I mean, I already have the official soundtrack so... I have a headstart.

So... I'm a member of this LJ community called [livejournal.com profile] howtheylooknow. It's really fun! Anyway, I was reading some of the posts today when I came across some information that I didn't know before...

- Cigarettes Will Kill You, by Ben Lee

Buffy follows me everywhere. Like in tonight's episode of 24, for example. Audrey Raines mentioned the name "Jane Espenson." JANE ESPENSON, yo!!! I had to re-watch the scene 3 times to convince myself that I was't hearing things. And I wasn't! Audrey said "Jane Espenson!" One of the main writers on BTVS!

(LOL! I think David Fury's responsible for this. Who wrote this episode anyway?)

Um... in other news, it's still raining. And my sister's sick. This week's not gonna be a happy one.

I love [livejournal.com profile] audiography. I just got a bootleg of Ben Folds doing an improv song called "R-O-C-K with your C-O-C-K out." Man, it was hilarious. Not as hilarious as these two Chinese dudes that I keep talking about, but amusing nonetheless.

Anyways, I had a dream about ______________ a week ago. Unfortunately, it was too perfect and wonderful for me to actually forget about it. So guess what? I haven't! And it's both fulfilling and frustrating at the same time. Maybe I should channel all these feelings into writing a fanfic. Hmmm... let's see... what to write about?

Ah crap. What am I talking about? I'm uninspired. Anything I write right now would be crap compared to this one. Hmm... maybe I should just go to sleep.

YouSendIt.com is pissing me off. You'd think that after getting hi-speed Internet, uploading and downloading files would actually be hi-speed. But no. I feel like I should kick someone's ass.

Speaking of the Internets, my bill for Comcast finally came. $88 bucks for the first month and a half. Please shoot me now.

"MySpacing" with my cousins is fun. Especially with the young-uns. I just had a conversation with my cousin Lea about baby animals and it was like, the best thing ever. We'd just send each other private messages back and forth. I guess while you're at work thinking about job-related things it's nice to just talk to a kid about... puppies or something. Yeah... and sometimes when I'm on my desk, I just want to color. Yeah, color. You know, I get jealous because my student workers are going on their Spring Break next week. And I'm thinking, "FUCK! I don't get to have Spring Breaks anymore!"

24 is so frigging awesome, I want to tape it, TiVo it, and watch it over and over again just so I can put an exclamation point at the end of each DUUUUDDE's and WHAT-THE-EFF's that just happen to come out of my mouth. I mean, [livejournal.com profile] sleepymonster is right, yo -- this is a waaay better show than LOST (which has totally lost it's "nerve-wrecking" quality). Is it like this all the time? I only started watching 24 a week ago so I don't know if you're at the edge of your seat every fricking minute of every episode. But dang... this is awesome! It's been on TV for like, five years now and it's still high-intensity? Color me amazed.

(BTW... co-executive producer David Fury? I didn't know he worked on this show! From Buffy to Angel to LOST to 24? The guy's going places!)

Anyways, I was so busy at work yesterday, it's like I showed up at 7:30 in the morning and 1 hour later, it's already 5 o'clock. Faaaantastic. I wish every work day is like that. And it's not like I was tired or anything. I was busy, yes, but the job didn't suck the life out of me. It was pretty awesome.

In other news, I'm thinking of starting a new project. I mean, my RFR soundtrack is still in the works (I'm gonna keep finding those hard-to-find songs, man), but right now I think I'm gonna start a BTVS music collection. Yes... yes, I will. Soon enough I'm gonna need a bigger capacity mp3 player.

New layout!
Guh, I dunno... but for the past couple of weeks I've been so obsessed with Instant Star that I just HAD TO make some changes.

You know what I realized yesterday? I really don't like Xander. I didn't like him in season 2, didn't like him in season 3, didn't like him in season 5... I think it's all that vampire-animosity that's getting to me. In season 2, when he was all, "Yey! Let's kill Angel" I want to smack him really bad. I mean, enough with the hate! Spike and Angel helped your ass thousands of times so shut the eff up! I only like him for his funny lines.

Quote of the day:
I kid you not, this is an actual quote from one of the Narnia books )

I'm back at work.

I miss being unemployed.

I mean, the students are still on vacation, dammit.

Why do I have to go back?

Happy fricking New Year, everyone.
I grumble with those who are no longer on holiday vacation.

Speaking of New Year, this has got to be the first time in 12 years that I didn't have any New Year's Eve plans. Usually there's a big-ole family gathering, but this year the relatives decided to have the festivities in Yucaipa, CA -- which is like, 2 hours away from my house and nobody from my family is willing to drive that far so... yeah, we all stayed home. I watched BTVS all day and I read Narnia. I also went to the movies with my brother LeeRoy. We saw King Kong and Fun with Dick and Jane. King Kong was great, except Peter Jackson's habit of unnecessarily dragging out certain "moments" just really annoys me. This is why I wasn't so amazed with "Return of the King." Most of the time I'm like, "Dude... get to the point already!!!!" *gah* Anyways... Fun with Dick and Jane was pretty cool. It wasn't side-splitting, but it was fairly entertaining. Jim Carrey is love.

Suffice to say that I completely missed the New Year's Eve countdown. I was finishing up season 1 of Buffy when the ball dropped. I didn't even notice the time until I got several "Happy New Year" text messages, which really sucks in a way because that means my cellphone bill is gonna be a bit higher this month. Anyways...

I finally bought myself a can of pepper spray. For 2006, my biggest hope is that I won't have to use it. Also... 2006 is gonna be filled with theatre fun. Musical theatre, that is. If I'm gonna spend money on anything, it would have to be for this. Plus, I'm DEFINITELY going to New York on April so I have to decide what show to see once I get there. I'm going with two other gals and they're leaning towards Disney's Beauty and the Beast so maybe that would be that. Unless, of course, we find something else that's cheaper and doesn't require any sort of lottery. *sighs* Dammit, is it February yet? I'm gonna see Mamma Mia with my co-worker Tita Vangie.

I retrieved the rest of my financial aid award today and to my surprise, I got a receipt for $1,400.
Say what?
I was expecting only 100 bucks, but for some reason I got over a thousand? Did they increase my financial aid award without notifying me? Cuz dude... I've already retrieved a thousand bucks last semester. And to my understanding, that's the only money I have available for financial aid refund. Just a thousand for the whole year. That's it.
But lookit that... I have an extra $1,400 on my credit line.
Hopefully, the financial aid people didn't just mess up. I don't want them to take back all that money cuz dude, I could really use some extra money. I don't want to get a letter one day saying, "Dear student, we understand that we gave you a check for $1,400. But you were right, you only did have 100 bucks left for refund. Please give us back our money. Sorry for our mistake." Dude, that would suck big time.

Anyways, I'm supposed to be writing a paper right now but I can't seem to get past the first two sentences. This was only supposed to be a 2-page paper, people. And 8 hours after I started writing it, I'm still working on the first damn paragraph.

I hate writing.
Which is why I'm just gonna stop right now and read Harry Potter instead.

But before I go, this meme seems to be going around LJ lately, so I might as well give it a whirl:

10 Fictional Movie/TV Characters I'd Fuck:

1) Charles Gunn - Angel
2) Spike - BTVS
3) Jake/Jacqueline Pratt - Young Americans
4) Remy LeBeau (aka "Gambit") - X-Men
5) Faith - BTVS
6) Tarzan - Tarzan the Series
7) Lestat - Queen of the Damned
8) Any Character that Jonathan Rhys-Meyers played.

My roommate told me that she's thinking of getting a tattoo. I told her that I was thinking of getting another one myself. But I said that I'm only gonna get one if one of my friends decide to get one... that way I can tag along. Then she said, "Hey!!! Tag along with me!" So there you go. If my roommate gets a tattoo, I'm coming with her. And I've actually decided where I wanted my second tattoo to be: on the back of my neck (cuz seriously, everybody and their mommas have it on the small of their back). And it's gonna say "babae," which translates to "woman" in English... but of course, I'm gonna have it written in tribal Filipino alphabet. But if that doesn't work out, I want to have Faith's BTVS tattoo. But anyways... that's only IF my roommate gets a tattoo.

Anyways... I voted on American Idol last night. I'm kinda glad that America's Next Top Model was a (sort of) rerun so I got to watch AI in its (almost) entirety. Anyways, I voted for George, Jennifer, and Leah.

And I'm *SO* upset that Lisa Leushner wasn't in there.

In other news: The other day I got an email and apparently, somebody had sent me a review from Fanfiction.net. Wow. I didn't think that anybody would still be reading my Fred/Gunn fic.

P.S. This bra is killing me. When am I gonna find a bra that's actually comfortable? I really don't like adjusting this damn thing every 5 minutes.

I saw Dr. O'Brien today. Heh... we always get all giddy everytime we see each other. What can I say? We were oozing with Spike-love. And Spike-love makes us giddy. So there. Anyways, the weather was so nice too so I almost felt like I was in a freaking musical (Think Julie Andrews during the opening scene of The Sound of Music). And I'm pretty sure Dr. O'Brien felt the same way cuz she walked towards me with her arms wide open -- like she was about to sing "The hills are allliiivveee..." But anyways, here's what happened.

Me: Dr. O'brien!! Hey!! How's it going?!!!
Dr. O'Brien: Ahh.... it's such a beautiful day today!
Me: I know!

*and talk about ruining the mood*

Me: Oooh, did you hear?
Dr. O'Brien: What?
Me: Angel is not coming back next season!!!
Dr. O'Brien: Ugh! I'm *so* in denial. I'm totally in denial right now. And after all the denial, I'll be in mourning. So don't even talk to me about Angel being cancelled.

*the giddiness suddenly melted away*

So basically I ruined her good mood. Hehe. But on a brighter note, my ex-coworker Tanya dropped by the library today. I've completely forgotten that she's a BTVS and Angel fan. So when Petrice said, "Ohmigod Tanya! Have you been watching Angel? Fred died!!!" my ears automatically perked up. Apparently, Tanya have night classes on Wednesdays so she's not able to watch Angel. But I'm happy to report that when me and Petrice told her about Fred and Wesley hooking up, she responded with a big fat "eww." Whaddaya know... she's a fellow Gunn fan.

*insert big grin here*

And I think that the random student who just happened to be using the Circulation Desk's stapler while we were all chatting was also a fan because she had this big smile on her face like she knows exactly what we're talking about.

Life is good - Reason #5
Angel fans in the library

P.S. I haven't been to KatherineMoennig.net in a looooong time, and I visited the site today. I must say, it looks fabulous!!! Hey, I didn't know that randomharp is running it now! Man, I'm so out of the loop!
